What will be the result ?
After another 24 hours of waiting, we took them out, a frost still remains on the surface. They are completly frozen. Let them defrost for 1 hour and see if there is any changes...

Absolutely, nothing is showing in difference.
Same as last time, we couldn't see any change.
There was a doubt that we'll see any change or effects on solid opals in this experiment, but never thought all 4 opals, including Doublet opal and Triplet opal would show no differences !
Once again, we've disappointed you for not been able to show or make any interesting results... At least this experiments have proven to you that opal is not as delicate as you think !!
To a customer who's asked whether it was safe to bring opal to Antarctica, our conclusion would be,,,
"As long as the environment is suitable / livable enough for human being, almost any gemstone can be worn without problems. Of course we wouldn't personally recommend anyone to leave their precious gemstone or jewellery frozen in Antarctica on purpose, but just enjoy your beautiful jewellery on a special occasion or to any special trip ! Try not to leave opals or other gemstones in a harsh condition, if possible."
We have learnt so much through all these experiments, thanks to our customer who's made such interesting enquiries.
And we will continue to do more experiments and more researches on another occasion.

Please do not try this at home, on your precious opal.
